TUmaini Na Uwezo initiative

TUmaini Na Uwezo (TUNU) initiative activities date back to 2012 when we attended a church near new Kitisuru in Nairobi where my mum lived and there were some young teenage boys between 12 and 14 years with the youngest in the group being around 8 years who had dropped out of school and were involved in criminal activities. Some had totally run away from home and become street boys.

My mum started activities in church to try rehabilitate, reunite them back with their families and return these boys to school and it bore  positive fruits.
